The Discipleship Coordinator will help plan and coordinate ministry initiatives including SR Groups and some of our large spiritual growth events, as well as working with the Extend Ministry Team. The ideal Discipleship Coordinator is someone who is a visionary implementer who possesses the unique ability to both wrestle through “the big stuff” and proactively manage “the small stuff.” The Discipleship Coordinator must have a passion for care and support, strong relational skills, the ability to think strategically, and a servant’s heart to extend God’s love beyond local church boundaries. The Communications Coordinator will support the mission, vision and ministry of South Ridge by coordinating and overseeing the execution of communication projects related to South Ridge ministries. This role will manage and coordinate content for the church’s services and various communications platforms. The Communications Coordinator requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to plan and execute steps to complete a project from start to finish, strong computer skills, ability to collaborate across teams and take initiative, and an understanding of and aptitude for communication best practices. Those involved in the transition team will support the various ministries of South Ridge Community Church by transitioning rooms from one ministry, activity, or event to another. This includes moving tables, miscellaneous furniture & chairs, cleaning/disinfecting after events, and emptying trash. During the summer months, this also includes push mowing and weed whacking. Applicants need to be able to work on the weekend and after Sunday services. Hours/days vary according to activities on the complex.
