Easter Giving Project

Each year, during the Easter season, the SR community has the opportunity to financially give to serve and spiritually impact others in some way.

This year, the South Ridge community is invited to give financially toward a new initiative led by Extend Ministry partners Dan and Elly MacLean, who serve Persian refugees in Germany. They’re renovating a former bakery into a café and community center that will open later this year in September and bring the refugee and local resident communities together.

Your contributions for this year’s Easter Giving Project will assist Dan and Elly with both start-up and monthly expenses, including costs for permits, renovations, and furnishings that will enable them to:

  • Create a place where all can learn more and speak freely about their faith in Jesus.
  • Have expanded space to serve the Persian refugee community and offer a range of free programs, including German language classes, educational support, plus a variety of other events.
  • Connect the German and Persian communities together to experience the love, truth, and light of Christ

As God’s Spirit prompts, from March 29 – April 12, you’re invited to give to help the MacLeans in this endeavor to reach the German and Persian communities.
