In Genesis, we read that human beings were uniquely created “in God’s image, in His likeness” (Gen. 1:26). This truth is the foundation for human dignity. Because we’ve been created in God’s image, every human being is intrinsically valuable, a wondrous reflection of the Creator. It is on this basis that human life is to be guarded and treasured, especially the lives of the most vulnerable: the unborn, the elderly, & the disenfranchised.
Join us for Accelerate Weekend on Mar. 9 & 10 as we dig deep into the topic Life, Death, & Grace: Talking About Abortion & Assisted Suicide. Our guest speaker will be pro-life apologist Stephanie Gray.
Stephanie is the president of Love Unleashes Life and is author of a book by the same name. She regularly speaks on pro-life topics and debates abortion supporters, including professors as well as physicians who do abortions. In 2017, Stephanie spoke on abortion at Google headquarters, a talk which subsequently went viral. Stephanie is passionate about articulating a Biblical worldview of the sacredness of human life and equipping people to have compassionate, compelling conversations about abortion & assisted suicide. Watch the short clip below of one of Stephanie Gray’s talks:
On Saturday evening, we will be offering a movie night for the movie Amazing Grace. William Wilberforce fought to abolish slavery for the same reason that we guard the elderly and the unborn. Human beings have been created in the image of God, endowed with a beauty, worth, & dignity that must never be sacrificed for the comfort and convenience of the powerful. We’d love for you to join us! If you’re wondering who from your family should attend, click here for a family review!
