Details:  A group of 40 South Ridge ladies will participate in the Digging Deeper Women’s Weekend and you’re invited to be one of them!  The topic for the weekend is Powerful Prayer.   Speaker and worship leader Christine Wyrtzen (christinewyrtzen.com) will equip you to pray more fervently and strategically by walking with you through topics such as: understanding God and His promises, being aware of our enemy’s agenda, harnessing the Word of God, taking a family inventory, and praying for those who have wounded us. 

Location: Sandy Cove (www.sandycove.org) is a year-round Christian conference and retreat center in North East, Maryland whose mission is to help people connect with God and each other in order to be transformed into the image of Christ, through His Word, His creation and community.  Sandy Cove is situated halfway between Baltimore and Philadelphia near the town of North East, Maryland, just 10 minutes south of I-95, and 1 hour south of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  It’s just under 2 ½ hours from SRCC.

Meals: The weekend includes all meals (Friday dinner through Sunday lunch) and several snack breaks.

Carpool:  If you’d like to drive to Sandy Cove on your own, feel free.  If you’d like to carpool with others, meet at the South Ridge campus (upper parking lot) at 1:00pm on February 3rd (Cars pull out at 1:15).  Registration begins at Sandy Cove at 4:00pm.  The first official gathering will be dinner at 5:30 in the dining hall (South Ridge will be seated together in our own section).

Accommodations:  We’ve reserved 12 rooms with triple occupancy and 1 room with quad occupancy. Each room has at least two twin beds and one queen size bed, so each lady will have their own sleep space.   Each cozy and spacious room features:  full private bathroom, bed and bath linens, 3 inch memory foam toppers on all beds, soap and shampoo, independent temperature control, telephone, AM/FM clock radio, daily modified housekeeping service (beds made, trash emptied, condiments replenished, fresh bath linens), iron and ironing board, and free WI-FI access.

Cost:  The cost for the Digging Deeper Women’s Weekend is $227.00 per lady.  Payment is made through this website when you register.   If it’s difficult or impossible for you to contribute this amount, but it’s on your heart to go, we’ve been able to set aside some scholarship funds.  Simply fill out a Scholarship Request Form and email it to weekends@southridgecc.org.  A small team of South Ridge leaders will prayerfully consider received requests, taking into account urgency of need and order in which the requests were received.

It's an opportunity to talk about and apply each session in a smaller circle.  Just as spaghetti isn’t finished until it sticks to the wall, the session isn’t finished until it sticks in your heart and life.
