RetreatsEvery year we participate in the most awesome retreats available to teens in our area. Please note that costs for the retreats are non-refundable due to the fact that once a student signs up, we make a commitment for that headcount to the event organizers. The money does not go to the Church or Student Ministries.
Junior & Senior High Fall Retreat (October 14-16, 2011) (Open to current grades 7-12) Camp Techumseh - Join us for a packed weekend of worship, hiking, volleyball, ropes course, canoeing and connecting with other students within our ministry. This retreat is our student ministry kickoff weekend. To save on the cost of the retreat, transportation will NOT be provided. Cost includes accomodations, food and t-shirt. Cost: $100. Junior & Senior High Winter Retreat (Feb 3-5. 2012)(Open to current grades 7-12) Join us for a packed weekend of worship, hiking, volleyball, snowman making contest, sledding/snow tubing and connecting with other students within our ministry. To save on the cost of the retreat, transportation will NOT be provided. Cost: $90 if you have T-Shirt from Fall Retreat. $100 if you want Student Ministry T-Shirt). Junior High Summer Retreat (July 30-August 4, 2012)(Open to grades 7-9; as of July 30, 2012) We head down to beautiful Long Beach Island each summer for an entire week of fun and spiritual challenge at Harvey Cedars Bible Conference. Days consists of times of worship and biblical challenge at the Chapel of the sea. Followed by seminars that Biblical truth and apply it to your life. Then its time for sports competitions including basketball, volley ball, swimming, wiffle ball and much more. To top the day off how about a daily trip to the beach. The evenings are filled with fun fellowship and yes even more spiritual challenge. In the middle of the week there is a giant camp-wide activity and one night we just hang out as a group and chill. This is one unforgettable week.
