JAARS Jungle Jump off - spend a week in a simulated remote village. During Jungle Jump Off, teens and college students cook on mud stoves, sleep in primitive houses and hammocks, and learn about Bible translation and missionary work around the world. Participants must be at least 14 years old.

JAARS is a nonprofit organization committed to speeding Bible translation for all people. We provide technical support services and resources to Wycliffe Bible Translators, SIL International and related organizations around the world.

KENYA - June 26-July 9, 2011

Our Kenya Mission Trip is open to Juniors and Seniors in High School and College-Age Students. 30 spots are available and we need to have all participants signed up by September 2010. The focus of this trip will be to work with High School Students and assist at an orphanage.

All forms for Kenya plus a $150 deposit need to be handed in no later than Monday, September 13.

Adirondack Mountains - July 31-August 5, 2011

This mission trip is open to High School Students (those entering 9th grade through current 12th graders in 2011). There are 20 spots available.The cost is $400 a person (this includes the price of transportation). The focus of this trip is to conduct Kids Clubs and work projects to assist the community.All participants need to be signed up by September 2010.

Registration Process

Due to the size of our ministry, we have been moving towards electronic registration for our events. Electronic link registration areas can be found throughout our website next to the appropriate event. If those events that are limited to about 25 people or less, sign-up sheets will be posted at the registration desk during the Sunday Night Youth Ministry Event or students can sign up by emailing Mat Dawson (Youth Paster) at mdawson@southridgecc.org or Cherrie Weisel (Youth Assistant) at cweisel@southridgecc.org
