Women's Bible Study (1st & 3rd)

On Monday, September 19th, Women’s Bible Study (1st & 3rd Mondays of the month) will begin David: Seeking a Heart Like His by Beth Moore.  "If you've ever experienced doubt, temptation, loss, family problems or personal inconsistencies, this study is for you."  God wants us to grow closer to Him and see how, with all that David had going on in his own life, God could still call him a man after His own heart.  Each week, starting at 7pm in the first floor classrooms/Worship Center, we’ll discuss questions from a workbook then learn from Beth via video.  For more info, contact Arlyn Reed at aj91584@comcast.net or Luanne Phillips at lmphill@comcast.net.

Women's Bible Study (2nd & 4th)

On Monday September 26th at 7pm, Women’s Bible Study 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month) will begin Living Intimately: Lessons from the Upper Room by Lenya Heitzig & Penny Rose.  This study (in Lebanon, NJ) deals with our relationship with the Lord Jesus Himself, as displayed in the book of John chapters 13-17.  What can we learn from His final words to His disciples?  By dwelling intimately with Jesus, we can imagine what it would have been like to hear from Him just hours before He would die.  With each lesson we hope to come to a deeper understanding of the truths of the Bible and develop a deeper walk with Jesus. Mom’s Mentoring Moms

Taken from the passage in Titus 2:3-4 where the “older” women (seasoned) of the church are instructed to teach the “younger” (less seasoned) women, this ministry meets in the Worship Center on the first Tuesday morning of each month, at 9:00am, beginning in October and provides a place to share, ask questions, laugh and pray while gleaning from the experience of seasoned moms.  Moms of all ages with children of all ages are invited to attend. Mentoring Single Moms

Single Moms Ministry is for women who are parenting children alone and graciously allow our ministry leaders to walk their journey with them, show them that Jesus has a wonderful plan for their lives,  and inspire them through opportunities for personal growth, camaraderie, and Bible Study.  If you are a single mom, you and your precious children are invited to join us on Wednesday evenings in Room 107.  At 5:30, we enjoy pizza together.  At 6:15, the kids go to Awana or childcare while moms participate in Bible Study.  For more info, contact Dori Parker at dparker@southridgecc.org.
