Christmas Services
The highlight of the Christmas season at South Ridge is Christmas Services! All three Christmas services will be identical. The approximately 75-minutes services will include Christmas carols, engaging music, meaningful readings, a reflection from Scripture, and candle lighting.
Please join us for one of our Christmas services listed below! It’s also a great time of year to invite family members, friends, and neighbors. These services will take place on:
- Saturday, December 23rd at 4pm (no childcare available)
- Sunday, December 24th at 2pm (nursery available for children under 2)
- Sunday, December 24th at 4pm (nursery available for children under 2)

December Message Series
Throughout the month of December during our regularly scheduled 9 & 10:45am services, South Ridge will celebrate Christmas with the theme, God in Flesh.
Who exactly was this Jesus who was born as a baby in Bethlehem’s manger? Many regard Jesus to be a highly inspirational person who brought a new ethic of love and service to others. Others think of Him as a great teacher who was far advanced for his time. Scripture, however, teaches that Jesus was God in Flesh! Jesus was 100% divine, but he was also 100% human! It’s mind-blowing and mind-breaking that the Creator God of the universe would become human to unite His creation back to Himself. Join us as we travel the journey of what it means for Jesus to be God in Flesh.
Ministry Partner Holiday Events
South Ridge has a number of ministry partnerships, some of which that are hosting holiday events on the South Ridge campus!
Foundations First Christian, a learning community that meets in the building during the week, is hosting a Christmas program on Tuesday, December 12th @ 6:30pm. More information is available.
Additionally, Recovery-Hub, an Extend Ministries partner, is hosting a New Year’s Eve Celebration on Sunday, December 31st @ 7pm. More information and a registration link is available.
Service Update
There will only be ONE service at 10am on Sunday, December 31st. This service will be held both on campus and online. No SR Groups, SR Students, or SR Kids ministries will be offered.
Care at Christmas
We recognize that there are families in the South Ridge community who may need assistance this Christmas season. Whether that’s help providing a Christmas gift for a child, help with a utility bill, someone to talk to about grief or loss, or someone to pray with, we want you to know that we care about you.
